The quality at the bottom of the GT300 field is pretty terrible, and that creates a lot more of a hazard when they're running with GT500s and not just other GT3s. It's certainly not like there's nowhere else to race.

The threat alone might be good for some of the teams that by all rights shouldn't be so slow but aren't making much of any effort to be competitive.

Hiroto Kaneseo (Team owner of apr) says, "As far as Toyota keeps making hybrid cars, we're pursuing hybrid racing car, too".
So Autosport web speculates that Team apr might participate by hybrid racing car next season.

It seems that hill climb event was performed in Mazda Turnpike Hakone today.
EVORA GT300 and Gainer GTR GT3 seem to have participated.

Not quite sure what to do at 5am on Sundays anymore.... season is over.

Its been great having coverage for the full year, first time I have been able to watch every Super GT race. Downside is that I did not get to go to a Super GT race this year.

We are already thinking about next year, nothing is yet confirmed but I'm very confident we will have full English coverage again. My aim/hope/dream is that we will do all the races from the track but that is down to whoever wields the chequebook.

I'd like to openly thank GTA, NISMO, Darren Cox, Radio Le Mans, Grand Central and Mr. Orange Jacket for letting me be part of it.

But to next year - what would you guys like to see from the coverage (yes we know better frame rate and T&S)? I can't promise a think but I can tell the people that matter what y'all want!

(Oh and GT500 Classic clips is high on my list!)

There are no sporty hybrids aside maybe the Lexus IS 300h or the Lexus CT. The Lexus IS has previous history in gt300. The CT is a 4-door hatch and I dont think it makes sense. We'll see. Maybe Toyota reveals the LF LC sometime in early 2016 at an auto show and APR uses it?

I don't know if Lexus would allow apr to use the LF-LC concept hybrid car as the next GT300 fighter since they have the RC-F GT3 car already.

But I don't think it make sense they use LF-LC concept hybrid car , for team apr (#31) , because they prefer the mid-engine hybrid race car. If team apr (#31) cannot find the suitable car based on their objective , will they use another manufacturer to replace them with suitable car with their objective.

By the way, Lexus LF-LC is FR car , if they went on production , Lexus will use them to replace RC F GT500 or RC F GT3 .

yeah that onboard does remind of many neck and neck races in GTR2 with all those super gt mods. so much tension, wonder how the new rules will change it.

So the Pennzoil R34 GTR really does have vacuum cleaners instead of an exhaust system? It would explain the horrible racket I hear whenever Polyphony Digital try to emulate engine noise

Such a great news for GT300 category. Hopefully Lambo squad will have equal strength with other cars. Is it only announcement of Lambo customer teams, not including the drivers?

I think so, because Ferrari GT3 car for next year is too expensive , unless Team Taisan can afford that Ferrari New GT3 price.

But I bet Team Taisan will not purchasing the New Ferrari GT3.

Wow, that awesome. But the problem is how the owner of team MACH to afford this Ferrari 488 gt3 by the high price????

As the price of Ferrari 488 GT3 need at least 525,000 Euros or 630,000 Euros to purchase this machine .
