Stevespurr should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Teddy Bears

Why are some marshalls cruel to TEDDY BEARS. They want to bury them in gravel traps use them for balls (playing baseball & cricket) tie them up and other unmentionable things to them. When all they want to do is come along to meetings and asist there lonely owners on post (due to the shortage of marshals) So why be cruel to them they are after all there for the same reasons as the rest of us beacause they enjoy motorsport.

Are you sure you've taken all your pills today, Steve? Including those little pink ones?

It may belie a repressed tendency towards s&m amongst people who voluntarily dress in orange from head to toe and put themselves in the way of out of control vehicles every weekend.

It's probably because the bear has more signatures on his overalls than they do...

forget about teddies making up the marshalling numbers....on the way to Spa a few weeks ago we found the missing marshals....theyve been hired by motorway maintenence....

seriously....there were manakins dressed in orange waterproofs at the start of roadworks waving an orange batton up and down....take em to post..give em a flag and youd double the marshalling numbers!!!

FUNNIEST THING IVE EVER SEEN!!

I would like to point out that the more civilised members of our "stuffed" brethren do not collect signatures.....

It is not only teddy bears, cuddly dog's also get take on post at some meeting and sit around all day watching the racing and waving at passing rescue units.

Most of us most know an observer with his spider friend "ziggy"

I took two teds in very finely knitted marshals overrals (one in Bobs' colours, one in orange) on post at the GP and they got waved at by everyone in the course cars!

How to really screw up a driver's mind - when he pulls off, creep up to the car from the rear, fling the door open and put the teddy in front of his face!!!

Audi TB should should be going to oulton to finish off his collection of BTCC drivers autographs. He was getting some strange looks off the drivers but they all saw the funny side. He will be needing a new set of overalls soon though. does anyone no where he can get a hat which will fit?

Did you find that pink bear in the Barwell Garage by Dave Pinkey's porsche by any chance? We gave him that as a mascot at Brands and he then managed to crash him into the tyres at post 10. He got one outing at Donny and I'm hoping he will be there at Oulton!!
