None on the market I would imagine, both Nissan and Toyota have very large museums/storage facilities for old racecars.

Quite a few of the Jaguars only showed up after TWR hit difficulties.

Nick49 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hello

Easy one for me as I can vividly remember sitting in a cafe in Chichester reading Autosport previewing Group C and getting really excited about it. Brands Hatch 1981 with the original Ford C100 but the race won by a Lola T600. Then it all took off in 1982 when I got to see the races at Silverstone, Le Mans, Spa and a very wet Brands Hatch. No rose tinted glasses for me, Group C was it and I still blame Bernie Ecclestone for its demise.

I took a long while to warm up to the LMP's but certainly since the Le Man Series took off I've been hooked. Big grids, good racing and now proper manufactuer interest.

Nick

it would have to be group c as they were possibly the most innovative (despite the diesel engines by audi and peugeot). though the others are good aswell

I have little love for open cars, older Group C or Group 5.
You have a pretty good point there. I'm not sure the new ones look as good yet...

I wasn't around for Group 5 but loved Gp C. However, I've picked Gp 5 because the cars, the tracks, the drivers and the lack of restrictions compared with Gp C. It is regarded as the golden age of sportscar racing so I can't ignore this.

Being a sportscar fan (and open wheel) since the early 60s, all I can say is I've luv'd 'em all... 'Kinda wonderin' why noone has plugged in Group 7 as the Can Am was quite the spectacle (ah-ha...I just did....)
Why is F1 even on this poll? Like comparing the proverbial apples and oranges. I don't like it's evolution but the technology and drivers still can't be beat.
I did vote Grp C in any case.
