AndyP MyCo should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Can I offer my assistance in setting up any BMMC stand (if required), come to think of it, I am available to help out at Oulton Park (Pre season if required, especially in role of Electrician), but I will help with anything.

I guess the "Ladies" will be there again, just so that there's something worthwhile to put in the next edition of "Trackside"

I'm not really sure whether I can be bothered to go, as once you've seen one show you've pretty much seen them all. If I do decide to show my face, it'll probably be on the Sunday.

It seems most people will be going on the trade days. How is this? Is it a BRSCC thing?

Just wondering

BRSCC members can get in free on any day
member were sent an application form some time ago to register! A badge will be sent to them next week!
I understand tho' that BRSCC members can turn up on the day without a badge and by going to the right kiosk can register there & then and get in for free!

I could be wrong but i think that if you hold an MSA licence then you can get in any day. I will be there on Saturday, but I will eyeing up the drivers not the ladies!!
I will be bringing a couple of possible new recruits with me, so a visit to the BMMC stand will be on the agenda. Look forward to seeing some of you there.

Unless I read it wrong, it was £31 for licence holders on trade days and £24 for everyone else on sat/sun and that includes the live action. Only thing I dont like are the car park charges £6 this year I believe.

Went up to the NEC recently (for the clothes showlive) and there were indeed £6 charges for the car park.

I'm going to the show for the first time...looking forward to it!

The £31 is for the live arena as well, If you just do the show it is £21. MSA and trade have to pay but can go in on the Thursday and Friday

I think there are very few people who don't pay to be there, (I'm one of those few - I'm paid to be there!)

But to be honest the money is well well worth it... especially on the trade days..

Trade days are better if you can go, as there are a lot less people there than on the public days. I'm going Like Jim W on Friday for the Watkins lecture and a good look round.

If anyone is going to the NEC from afar and needs acommodation then check out www.travelodge.co.uk
they have a promotion whereas rooms are just £5
-that's per room, not person.
They're non-cancelable(?)
I've just cancelled my original booking and rebooked for this cost.
Look for the pink "Fiver Frenzy" flag on the main page

Noticed the ad in yesterdays paper for that too - valid until the end of March (book before the 18th Jan). So that's Donington training, and the 750mc weekend taken care of then, and no need for the tent in March - woohoo!!

I did look for the NEC and the Birmingham East travelodge did have vacancies for Saturday when I checked yesterday.

(I'll be at the show on Saturday BTW)

Al.
