Richard Sprostron (Sprocket)
Those of us who were at Anglesey 14th/15th August will
know that our good friend Richard Sprostron..commentator and instructor at Oulton Park...was taken ill whilst taking part in the FF1600 qualifying on Saturday morning. Richard was taken from the circuit, direct to Bangor Hospital, by helicopter. I am pleased to report that I have spoken to Richard by phone this morning , and he is on the mend. He is his usual bright and breezy self and awaiting a visit from his consultant to determine exactly what had happened. Typically of Richard, his last words were that he hopes to be back at Oulton Park, commentating not driving , next week end. Regards Gordon Knight |

Gordon,
Many thanks for the update on Richards health. On behalf of all his friends at Ten-Tenths would you please forward our best wishes for a full and speedy recovery when you next speak to him? Regards, Stephen. |
