Rush 'em on over Dean. Can't wait for this weekend (especially after Donington) CSCC and JEC round the tight confines of Cadwell, i've been waiting all year for this meeting-already done Mallory and Rockingham with this series and would have done Oulton if I wasn't on holiday.

There is a rumour that a certain Jedi driver has rebuilt his engine in a bid to improve his outright lap record....anyone have more info?

I can't belive you are short of marshals for this one Dean- folks don't know what they're missing!!!

Bottom of the mountain should be a blast(hint, hint Dean!)

Received the following this evening:-

Richard Culverhouse, the leading light and main man at the CSCC rang me on Sunday night, as did Graham Whitaker. Amongst various things discussed, he informed me that Marshals will be paid £10.00 per day, there will be a raffle, (prizes suppllied by the Monoposto's etc.), such as fleeces and other useful regalia, and they also have beer for the marshals to collect at the end of Saturday. This is a very generous offer from a Club, probably the best doing the rounds at the moment!!!

Jordygirl, camping is where you find space. Friday entry to the circuit should not be a problem with or without a ticket. I'll be there about lunch time on Friday.

Jordygirl, you'r tickets will get you in Friday, we don't use passees. Camping is near the good Dr's heli pad on the far left as you go through paddock. Clean showers and toilets and club house with bar usually open. might camp myself if the weathers ok

Should be the best meeting of the season!! Just pray for reasonable weather. Thanks in advance to CSCC - fantastic club to marshal for. Anybody who has said they ought to get round to marshalling Cadwell, NOW is the time to do it!!

I've not raced at Cadwell before; does anyone know if there is power hookup available for the van in the paddock? TIA.

Here is a traffic report for any one heading up or down the A1 and passing Stamford this weekend.

Roadworks at the roundabout outside Stamford on the A1 and Burghley Horse Trials this weekend 4-7Sept 2008 sign posted off the A1 in the middle of the road works.

MGDavid, I beleive the answer is no as I have not seen any cable trailing around the padock. Best check with the circuit though on this.

All

Just to let you no I will be bringing two Orange Monoposto Fleeces for you to raffle from the club. 1 Large and 1 Extra Large.
also I can tell the Jedi Guy will not be there. However there is a lot off fast guys turning up with championship's at stake so the mono rounds will be interesting.

I hope only to meet you all in the paddock not on circuit unless you are gridding me up.

If the chief marshall or someone knows on here where he will be for me to drop them off either Friday night or early saturday morning ?

See you all there.
