Not bad line up there then! Nice for the local contingent and PR to have a Mexican guy up the front.

I guess we all easily forget what a good driver Pruett is! He was always a frontrunner in Trans-Am, CART and seems to be quick in sportscars.

I remember hoping that he'd get a PSR drive in F3000 back in late 80's/early 90's when he was offered a test backed by Ford IIRC. Can't remember if he did test but it's a shame he didn't come over for a crack. i'm sure he would have been competitive!

Doubt he would be very happy with that. He might be trying to concentrate on a race setup. Nonetheless he could have "pushed" it a bit more., as he was 3rd and 6th in practice.

Ok i am in Australia and it is sunday here but i think the dates on the another site have got it wrong.So it must be 7;00am monday morning here for the race.

scott pruett on the pole, Montoya 3rd, and Regan Smith qualified 8th. Race looks like it will be interesting. Pruett is always a threat on a road track.
