Triple C. Magazine. Building a Racing Anglia?

Can anyone, tell me WHO owned the Anglia racer, that was featured in CCC article "HOW TO BUILD A FORD ANGLIA RACER", in the seventies? It was yellow and orange as I recall. Does anyone have the CCC mag with this in it? Thanks Gerry.

I have a very dim and distant memory that Andy Dawson was involved.
I could be confusing it with the 1300 Escort they built though.

Just remembered, it was David Vizard and they called it the DVA for dual valve anglia!
He did a lot with minis and A series engines later on.

Gerry, a visit to the "oldskoolford" website (link below) will find some photos and photocopy scans of the "Project Dual Valve Anglia article"

Some other info there:

"It ran a derivative of an F3 engine,1000cc,61mm short-stroke big bore pushrod Ford that made an ear-piercing 109hp @ the rear wheels @ 10,000 rpm."

It was also for sale in Motoring News on the 26/6/1975.

"David Vizard/CCC project car,Anglia,d/d Holbay F3 1000,£1250."
