A wide range of prices for similar-ish tickets, particularly across Europe. Prices will obviously be governed partly by local factors and the cost of travel to the venues needs to be added in too. But still interesting for those of us who do venture off this island once in a while.

But at Spa, where it has only NOT rained once in the last 13 years of GP weekends, never had the same problems. Or am I dreaming???

All conversions are rounded off and not exact. Strange how prices fluctuate all over the globe. The US GP is cheap because Tony George set the prices low to guarantee a large crowd. The Japanese GP is probably so high because of the extreme demand.

True... and high demand for Silverstone too; always sells out - doesn't mean we need to be ripped off though.

Of course, there is a huge demand here for mud baths... and this is soooooo much cheaper than a Health Club..

High prices here because we just accept extortionate prices for anything.

Very interesting...... I still have my 3 day ticket from the 1979 Canadian GP at Ile Notre-Dame. The price for 3 great days and a hell of a tussle between Alan Jones and Gilles... $22.00 Canadian. Back in the "good ole days" one didn't need a Gold , Silver, or Bronze seat... the pits were just off the hairpin and the the track was very photographer friendly.... What a dissapointment it was in 1997 to drop $700+ for 2 pit straight seats (row 7 but the cars hugged the wall at this point so ya heard them but..... it's quite not the same as actually SEEING them), and find that most of the best photo opps were now restricted areas.... and the hill side overlooking turns 4 thru 6 was closed to all spectators. Sure not the same as it was in '78 & '79... and Mosport Park (1972-74 and '76-'77) was even more "fan friendlier".....

My ticket for Indy is $25 (Fri/Sat) and $85 for Sunday.... but I GLADLY would have paid $400 if it was held at Watkins Glen..... even with the "Bog"... well at least this "old fart" has his memories (and photos)....

I think those prices are a little high. The Canadian GP GA is listed as $85, but this year it was $75.

That is the face value, it might be more if you go to an agency.

The Canadian GP always sells out completely. I wonder how much more they will be squeezing us for next year!

Nice one Pamella....maybe this is an angle Silverstone should use with the FIA...,a GP and a health session in genuine Northamptonshire mud, no other tracks are offering such a facility yet.
I'm sure Max would go for that.
Maybe Bernie would go out and by up some tracks with muddy carparks so that he could get in on the act too???
