There's seemingly an endless sea of twitter and facebook accounts which are "must follow", and now you've got Periscope being thrown into the mix. Just thought it would be a good idea to have a thread where these sort of accounts can be found for those who don't know.

My first recommendation is following NISMO on Periscope. They're broadcasting quite a lot of stuff and if, like me, you're after something to whet your appetite then this is just the ticket.

I understand Rebellion and others also have accounts - could someone post them up on here please?

Fernando Rees
Harry Tincknell
Al Buncombe
FIA WEC

It's all linked up to Twitter so you can find them via the app. Not sure how much of an asset it will be to those at the track with roaming/date etc. Between the accounts they broadcasted the group photo just now from three or four different angles.

Periscope is a pain in the arse as half the time you click on the link that's been tweeted and the broadcast has just ended! Better if they took advantage of twitter's 30s video feature so that you don't have to watch it live.

Thomas Baekdal has stopped running his live timing page, but still has a list of drivers/teams on twitter https://twitter.com/baekdal24hours/lists (not sure if he's updated it since last year)

Periscope works a lot better if you have the app as you don't have to watch the feed live. You can go back through them. I agree it can be annoying on Twitter as it's not optimised for that.

To keep up to date with the overall classification of the race or the position of your favourite car, you can receive info on Twitter through the Live Score feature. Followers tweet @24heuresdumans + #24LMlive and in reply receive the general classification automatically.

To find the position of a particular car, all you have to do is tweet @24heuresdumans + #24LMlive followed by the car’s number. For example, to find out how the 2014 winners Tréluyer, Fässler and Lotterer are doing in the no. 7 Audi, tweet @24heuresdumans + #24LMlive7.

Periscope seems a lot of fun (so long as their signal is good!), and offers some even greater interaction. Am looking forward to using it myself over the next week or so for our cause
