30 April/2 May – Spa-Francorchamps (Spa 500) - Races on Friday and Saturday
15/17 May – Red Bull Ring
26/28 June – Oschersleben
17/19 July – Le Castellet (ELMS)
11/13 September - Zolder (European Truck)
25/27 September – Monza (GT/Euroformula Open)
9/11 October – Barcelona (Blancpain GT)

55km races and first 2 laps under safety car are added back on. Max 30 full season entrants.

I still believe that the second most important TCR championship should have atleast 9/10 rounds and the races should be longer than 55km.

The calendar is not so bad (for sure better than wtcr european rounds)!

I don't understand why there is such dislike for Paul Richard when I imagine as a driver it's quite the opposite. Besides, it's a fantastic facility with great viewing spots for fans, if a little bit inaccessible.

It's just a pretty boring layout, not many overtaking spots and those awful run-off areas. May work well as a test facility, but for actual races there are so many better circuits. In my opinion, of course!

Still, it looks like the first sector may be changed up a little bit for F1 so hopefully that'll be an improvement.

I do agree that its an eye-sore but I don't think the on-track action is much worse than some of the other modern-age circuits..besides at least in TCR Europe you can count on someone eventualy making a lunge

Well, the first announced driver is a 17 year old rookie from Italy. I haven't followed TCR Italy this year as the grid was small due to the DSG championship. It will be interesting to see his development during the year.

Only one driver announced at this point doesn't sound too great... hopefully they start to come thick and fast. I suppose it's a similar story with WTCR, though that only wrapped up a week ago!

More announcements to come.

The Bäckmans will certainly be back.

Stian Paulsen has sold his car, but I believe he has something else lined up. Although I'm not convinced he'll do TCR Europe again. He had a lot to say this year about various incidents and the way the officials dealt with it. He could be a force in the newly-formed TCR Denmark. Close to home at least.

It's been the same for the past couple of years, the entry list should start filling up in the new year, fingers crossed. Guidetti should be an interesting addition, he was fast in Italy albeit a bit erratic at times.

Well, last year I think we had only the two Backmans announced in December. Many big announcements came only in march and I'm not expecting anything different for nexy season. We should have a healthy field once again. The only downside of factory backed teams leaving WTCR is, that bigger teams from TCR Europe may step up- like M1RA, Target etc. But as we saw in the case of DG and Boutsen-Ginion, it works the other way around too.

Peugeot Sport have also confirmed, that they will have 6 cars in the series for Clairet Sport and JSB Competition. Now the good question is: what will happen with Comte, who ran with DG in the last two seasons? Will he move to JSB, or will switch to another car/series (I really doubt that he will leave Peugeot)?

Well, there are far better drivers in Argentina, but let's see, how he does in Europe.

The other question is, who will be replaced by Sapag, as I don't think that Target will run more than 5 cars.

Basically, I have no idea. But the two Backmans are still Hyundai juniors, so I don't really see them leaving. Files races a Hyundai in Asia so I also see him staying, as he really never had the budget for WTCR. If no one is leaving, Sapag can get into the last car, in which Baumann was just a replacement.

Who probably has the budget for WTCR, if he can get into a good car, is Homola.
