Australian GT 2021

Interesting to see the SRO appear as front runners to take. over Aus GT.

They clearly know how to handle a national GT championship, but havent had a huge success in America so itll be curious to see how it goes in Australia.

They already in theory have a landmark event in the B12hr, I guess itll be about constructing a popular calendar that opens up a decent grid count.

Id imagine given the size of the market itll be a GT3/GTC/GT4 combined grid, which is certainly not a bad thing

One thing that SRO does well is exposure. Not that sponsorship is a massive part of GT racing but exposure on GTWorld to thousands of viewers is a plus, and they generally have a very well presented product as well. I'm looking forward to adding Australian GT to my series that I watch if indeed SRO takes control.

They do have some great tracks there so I think it can be a very solid series in the right hands.

So, the SRO rumors were true. I think it's a little bit of a surprise, that they will take AusGT together with ARG
