A very generous 5, only thanks to Nico's drive and some early and late race drama. Laps 10-40 were easily a 3. And that sound...

5.

Show has not improved with these new rules it seems, and we had a dominant car again.
This is quickly shaping as another 2013 season

5. A couple of good battles here and there, but not enough to warrant anything other than an average rating

Don't agree; I gave it a very rare (for me) 8. Some good close racing, on a good track and there are always going to be cars that come out the box better than others. At least it's not the RBR again (yet!). It had for me, the feel good factor, which I haven't detected for many a race, although I think the penalty for Bottas in qualifying was a bit crass.

5 - It was a pretty dull, I think.

3 - and that is being generous. I'll say that the Hulk and Alonso fight was good - and Massa going deaf at team orders was interesting, but that's about it.

The race left me very underwhelmed. A shame, as I like the Sepang circuit. I suppose that the fact there was no rain didn't help.

Some battles but very flat for me. I gave it 4. I found it very disappointing and felt quite negative towards some of the things that happened during the event.

A fairly dull affair, with the processional racing delayed by the first round of pit stops. A few battles but they were short lived. It almost promised to come alive, in the last 7 laps or so, as races in the past have done but not this time. Hope the IndyCar race at St. Pete's is better. 4.

I've given this one a 5... not because it was any better than last weekend, I now feel I was just being a tad harsh with my low score of only 4 in Oz.

Not bad! There were a goodly number of battles up and down the order, although there were some that didn't quite develop according to their promise. Loved Ricciardo's early run on Vettel, the Williams form, was impressed with Merc's showing this time round. Was at least as watchable as the V8 Supercars!

AngusJ has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
The racing was not bad, but not spectacular either. The engines sound like construction equipment, hideous, if you want to hear a real race engine you have to come to the US....ha!

It was OK, but It wasn't great.

I was thinking 4 or 5 so would have been a 4.5/10 ideally, but selected 5 out of 10, because we had a couple on interesting battles.

This is my overriding feeling of F1 since 2009/2010. Its become lost in conservation of equipment and saving money.

Not wildly exciting. I gave it a 7.

To those who scored it a 5 or a 4 or even less, I think you should try a different sport. Clearly F1 is not your thing.

Wasn't the whole original idea of 8 now 5 engines/power units for a season and limited gear boxes to stop the teams just putting a brand new engine in every race.

Same with reducing testing..... stop the big teams just running 6 cars and 3 teams of crew.

As it turns out it has become more expensive than ever, but I thought the original plan was to restrict the big teams spending

Saving money? By some estimates the cost of a power unit contract for a team just rose from about $10million to $25 million per year......

But they go though four sets of tyres in a Grand Prix when 25 years ago they got by on one set.....
They fly 6 Boeings from country to country carrying cars and spares when once upon a time they would put a couple of cars, a spare engine and some bits into a few crates and ship them for less than $3000....

In 1992 you could run a good F1 team well on $40-$50 million a year. Now you have teams that need to spend $100-$150 million just to be at the front end of the grid....

6 - really good start, some good action, some better action between team mates but without the rain it was a fairly straight forward race for me.
