It's been very quiet - just wondering how you're settling in to Blighty and look forward to meeting you at an English track near you?

I guess you're talking to me????

I've barely seen the outside of the plant. We go to York once or twice a week for dinner. A few of us managed to get a day off last weekend and took the train up to Edinburgh (cool city), but five hours of touring time didn't do it justice. Hopefully, I'll have more time in March to do things I want to do, but I'm not sure.

Sunday, I'm going to try and make it down to Donington to visit the GP museum. I have to work overnight, so I'm not up for a day on the hill.

Thanks for all the info, all.

The people I've met have been great hosts. I've had a lot of fun, considering the pressure our group is under.

Cheers!

The Grand Prix collection is great you will love it. Doninton have got a traning day on sunday the 22nd so if you happen to on come that day then pop in and see some of the Doninton crowd.

For Croft, contact Steve Gibson: news@darlington-motor-club.org.uk

Alternatively PM me from ten-tenths and I'll try and help.

At Selby you are about half way between Croft and Cadwell Park. The Midland circuits (Donington and Mallory) are not that far away followed closely by Silverstone and Oulton. For someone from USA all the UK circuits are close to Selby!!

And then, the LMES at Silverstone in August

I will be making the `journey' to work the Silverstone LMES 1k km in AUG 04. I have been in touch with "racegypsy" on this forum as well as two others who may or may not be "ON" and the gentleman who assists in assignments. My primary assignment in the US is Communications in Race Control, but I have been known to grab the flags when necessary. As I understand it, communications are handled by "Course Marshals". Is this correct?

What would you suggest as a `tourist' attraction for a US enthusiast, with one or two days to spare after the event? PMs in order to keep the 'flow' quiet.

I'm flying back to the UK after a week long conjugal visit on the morning of the 22nd. I don't think I'll be up for track days that weekend.

I would like to get to a training day, though, but I don't think it will work out.

I didn't make it to the museum today. I'll try later in the week on my day off (if I get one).

Thanks for the answers to the questions, all!
