Toooooooo tiny pic to see enough mate!

For sure a Norwegian Porsche 911 driver.
Could be Jan Gulbrandsen in 1982…
Same car is on the pic on page 81 of my RX yearbook ’83, but it has no caption.

Can I find this somewhere, or is it a book? I'm new on the forum and try to name all the pictures I have from 1981 untill 1983.

It is a pic in a book, used for an advertisement, but the book itself does not help to identify the driver you are looking for.

If you try to find info about your pics here you need to post them bigger. Thumbnails are all but usefull to identify the sponsors, starting numbers etc. And we need the venue, if known. This pic looks to me like taken in the first corner at Valkenswaard (1982 ERC round?), but I’m not certain as, and once again, that pic is too tiny.

I’ve checked my files and the docs for the 1982 Dutch ERC round now.

Jan Guldbrandsen (N) took part at the Eurocircuit with a Valvoline Norway entered Porsche 911 with the starting no 47. He finished 26th overall. AFAIR Vesta Hygea was (or is?) an insurance company who also sponsored Kjetil Bolneset (Ford Escort RS1800) in the early 1980s.

Sorry, but this was just an error of mine. Vesta Hygea was already the sponsor of Jan Gulbrandsen’s 1981 Ford Escort RS1800, that I sometimes mix-up with the early RS1800 of his compatriot Kjetil Bolneset.

Jan Gulbrandsen (N), Porsche 911, 1982 Dutch ERC round, first Eurocircuit corner, as expected.

On the side one could think the starting no is 17, but on the bonnet the 47 is obvious.
