Joyce George should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Goodwood Festival of Speed

I just thought I would let anyone marshalling at the FOS this year know that due to the re-location of the campsite this year, that it is no longer going to be possible to bring your dogs with you. In past years the campsite has been outside the venue limits, but this year the site is next to Top Holding paddock, inside the circuit.

rescue dude is a back marker
That should be much better for security as in previous years there's alway's been a big fence and proper security dude's on duty 24/7.
I should make sure you don't forget your pass.

It also means we won't be 'invaded' by the people operating the trade stands!

I must say that no dogs is probably a good idea.

All the trade stand's parking up in the so called marshal's camp-site was a joke. I remember a few year's ago Black x having to wait an hour after the day's marshalling to get his car out so he could go down the shop's. He was not a happy bunny.

I'm planning to camp for the first time. Do most marshals arrive on the Thursday night or setup after Fridays event? If Thursday, is it open for entry all day and will it be signposted?

I hate camping!

i've had time to think about the bike comment now. Rushed words, will stick with the car as normal. Cycling in my ovies...i think not. Look forward to seeing you all there.

Tis true.....I was somewhat miffed

We generally set out 9/10 am on Thursday so we expect to arrive early pm..
Set up the caravan and awning then its off to the shops for valuable beer and ice supplies...
