I doubt they're that determined to have the third car. Nevertheless I hope in 2021 WSR will be back with three BMWs - it's always one more great car on the grid!

TOCA are being flexible around TBLS. I see no reason for WSR to try and negotiate with 3 drivers or 1 driver unless someone turns up with blank cheques.

The track was way slower yesterday....but Butcher was 0.7 faster than anyone else and faster in the speed traps too....and then the next three drivers - Chilton, Ingram, and Hill - were all within a couple of tenths of each other...

A gentleman of wealth with the appropriate racing licence I would suggest. Either that or it'll sit in the workshop under a blanket.

Have to say I respect Plato for his reasons there. It’s been hard for everyone not being able to see family and it’s hard trying to balance getting the budget together and seeing family

I have to admit that I agree with you there. I have freely admitted (and more than once) that I don't like JP and am generally very happy to try and pull to pieces anything that he says. I also like to think that I am fair minded and must say that I think he has made some very good points here and he has also explained the reasoning for not running at all this year very well.

Very fair points by JP, absolutely all of them.

It will have taken guts by the team and it's partners to come to that decision too - the easy option is to try and continue and pretend everything's all OK.

JP mentions economic collapse - I've rejigged my life, my pension on this being an absolute certainty.

I believe that with PMR the whole Vauxhall deal was around their Trade Club which is essentially B2B networking which no doubt hospitality at events was central too, same with Flux I imagine and probably Power Maxed trade customers.

I think that the coming weeks will see many more announcements some we will not be happy with, but i still have my fingers crossed we will see some BTCC racing this year
