RB, it seems as though if the picture does not include Lewisham 'ilton, you are pretty much wasting you time. Too many young kids on the site to expect any answers.

My guess is that the picture was taken at Silverstone, probably in the early fifties, and at a fairly big event. It looks wet which might also be a clue I suppose, I also suspect that none of the drivers are English, and possibly includes a World Champion driver or even two.

On the other hand I might be completely on the wrong track (pun).

Well, young man, if you showed me a picture of four of the current F1 drivers I would be in the same position; Period wise that is.

Although if it was in black and white I might have a chance.

Not wishing to usurp EB but the picture was taken at Silverstone in 1951, at the Daily Express International Trophy Meeting. The drivers are left to right as viewed, Sanesi, Farina, Bonetto, and Fangio. The next figure is Nello Ugolini, the Alfa Romeo Team manager. Reg Parnell driving a Ferrari won the race, which was stopped after six laps because the track was flooded by a massive rainfall.
