Ooooh what a shame...

Next October, our shores wont be graced by the might of the BTCC in Muller/Plato/Neal.... there is a BTCC race on the same day as Bathurst!

Maybe the race will go caution free!

On the contrary, the FAI have announced the race record will jackpot by another 100k to $300,000.

The money's fairly safe though. The V8Supercars aren't hugely quicker than the old GT-R's, and would require the V8's to have a Bathurst almost devoid of pace car incidents. And the chances of todays V8 drivers not causing half a dozen pace cars?
