Indy Lights

The 2002 Indy Lights Championship has been cancelled. Indy Lights is no more. CART will be putting more prize money on offer for Toyota Atlantic to attract more competitors.

It has been slowly dying. You can read the press release, which has a little more information, in the Indycar forum. See the thread "Press Release: CART sets out new direction for development series ".

There is 14 drivers in Indy Lights this year, and there is 38 drivers in Atlantics, does this means we are going back to seeing 35-40 cars on the track when Atlantic race?
