Do you mean AF2000? I think it was replaced by FBMW Asia.First round of last season at Bahrain was on Sky TV last week(they take their time!)

Or do you mean the Asian Formula 4000 series? That seems to be still going ahead: http://www.f4000.com/feature/041102.htm

I could have sworn it was Asian Formula 5000. If I could see a pic of one of the AF4000 cars it would be better. Maybe, just maybe I could identify it. All I recall is seeing a white one in a small article of Autosport a few years ago. I think it was around 2002.
I'm just curious if this series is still running. Not that I ever followed. Just curious. |

F4000 is the former Formula Holden series, for ex-F3000 and Nippon cars. Go to f4000.com and click "gallery" to see pictures. Asian F4000 is just a mini-series planned for this year, that will take these cars outside of Australia. So that's not what you're asking about.
AF2000 seems more likely, as Rob29 said it was replaced by FBMW Asia as the premier open-wheel category. Here's a picture of Narain Karthikeyan from 1996: http://www.indiacar.com/nfs/images/nar5.jpg (may have to cut & paste). I've not heard of Asian F5000 personally, but then I'm no expert on Asian motorsport |

No such thing. You're getting it confused with F4000 or AF2000.

OK, fair enough. It doesnt look like AF2000. But it could be F4000.
