Rather cheeky ask from a banned driver!

Hey guys,

As you can tell from the title I've been a tad silly and got bloody banned(I blame the racing genes)

Anyway just wondered if anyone is going to Donnington for the first VdeV round on the weekend of 13/14th of April and if so is anyone going from or through Sheffield that I could cadge a lift off and give petrol money!

If not ,what would be my best option with public transport attempting to get there?

Sorry to be a cheeky , thanks in advance for any help!

Matt Bicknell

Gonna move this to Trackside. You'll have a better chance of getting some help there.

Can't help with a lift but you should be able to get public transport to East Midlands Airport and then either walk a mile next door or get a cab/ bus. I am pretty sure that National Express run regular services N-S that stop off at EMA or train it to Loughborough/ Derby/ Nottingham and, again, there are buses from those stations to the airport.

Thanks for the info, hopefully I'll sort something out, word of advise keep the speeding to the circuit cause public transport really is poor,no matter what the government keep trying to tell us!
