Anyway, Michelisz announced as Hyundai driver surprised me: what about M1RA? I expected him To race with his team. I Hope to see again Colciago and Tassi on the track.

He said there will be anonnouncement very soon, but not sure they got the money for the WTCR.

It's Not clear if they run their cars or the Alfas will be handed by another team (like last year with GE Force)

The absence of M1RA would be a pity

Maybe teams have yet to sign drivers and sponsors.
Should be interesting to see drivers like Comini, Oriola, Borkovic, Morbidelli, Tassi etc.

My Dream is to see touring car aces like Giovanardi, Larini, Rangoni, Ferrara, Kristoffersson, Huff, Turkington, Monteiro, etc.

I really hope Not to See too many driver changes during the year; I'd like to see the inaugural 26 driver entry list during all the season

Interesting article here:
http://hosszabbitas.hu/wtcc/klasszis...evezesi-listan

Just look at that line-up! Only Comini missing from the list.

IMO, don't really believe in that crazy rumor, but Pastor Maldonado is linked to race in WTCR

Really interesting

Seems strange that SLR is chosing VW but it could be. Boutsen Ginion without Benjamin Lessens? He really impressed me last year in SPA. For me the Muller team could be backed by Seat. With an Opel team this entry list would be perfect in my opinion

I´m not that surprised as they have already used a Skoda Fabia R5 before.

I know SLR is running Porsches but cars that are rival to Peugeot/Citroen is surprising me.

Yvan Muller AND Thed Björk? Thats almost too good to be true... could this be the placeholder for a Volvo return next year?

So Tarquini, Huff, Muller, Björk, that would make 4 World Champions plus Vernay as TCR Champion.

Bamboo is missing from that list and I still hope for Comini.

BTW what is Lopez doing this year? Just kiddin.

If that entry list is true, we could be going into the greatest world season in, well I actually cant remember...

hopefully they do the bop the same way FIA does it in WEC GTE,
where its not about test days but wind channel data and pure engine performance. And it works so well, even the involved manufacturers arnt complaining anymore.

Are the Seat's gonna be Seat's or will they brand them as Cupra?

Strange that Loeb fields VWs, not Peugeots, isn't it. Nevertheless, with Huff it will be a very strong team.

Great field, I think. I'm only missing some great TCR drivers like Colciago, Comini, Nash and Morbidelli. Could the last team be WestCoastRacing, with either of those drivers?
I also think it's strange SLR is not fielding Peugeots, but I think Huff will be a title contender as we've seen the VW is a very strong car.
Also weird that ROAL is probably not going to enter the series, as it would be the perfect solution for them, cheaper cars, but the same championship.
Something different: Has the WTCR got rid of those stupid ideas that the WTCC had the past few years, like the joker lap and MAC3 (you can still do that per team instead of manufacturer)?

Look like that list might be right.
John Filippi confirmed on his Instagram account that he will be part of WTCR
Also someone asked Stefano D'Aste about WTCR and he answered "don’t know yet everything could be but I’m really very busy and involved with some new Lotus Cars projects."

It can be the best season for years in Touring Car Racing, judging by this list published by a journalist from Eurosport Portugal:
