Tim, they had the 1st practise at Loudon already on Thursday: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/93724
Will we all get our speeds disallowed? Are we still allowed to enter the contest until Saturday? Does it make sense to enlist speeds at all? When is the race? Saturday? |

I ran a golf tourney for my church this weekend that I handle by myself, so I'll be posting results sometime tonight or tomorrow.
Sorry for not getting to it sooner, but I was up to my eyeballs all weekend. |

Sorry for being so late...I was snowed under at work last week.
Here are Quals results: Everyone had Dario on the pole for 2 pts. Tim was closest to the spedd to get 2 plus bonus: Actual-170.843 Tim 171.100 All but Yannick had Dario for the fast lap for 2 pts. Tim also was closest to the Fast lap Speed for 2 plus the Bonus. In the Opt 6, Tim and marco had 4 pts and all others had 3 pts. each. Chiana, Yannick and Tim had Saavedra for the slow speed for 2 pts. Chiana was closest to the speed for 2 pts plus the Bonus Daisy and Tim got 1 pt. each for having a Top Six driver as their "Just Miss" Totals after Quals: 1. Tim N. - 19 pts. 2. Chiana - 13 pts. 3. marcostraz - 8 pts. (tie) Daisy - 8 pts. 5. Yannick - 7 pts. I have to wait until the 3-person board rules on the protests before I can score the race. That ruling comes tomorrow. If the protest goes through, Tim and Chiana will each pick up an extra point by selecting Dixon to get 2nd place, and no one else will be impacted points-wise, so I am going to go ahead and score it provisionally and then change the totals if needed following the ruling.
No on had RHR or Servia (if it goes through) for the win. In the Top Five, all of us had 1 pt. each for Dixon or Power No one had Dixon for the Fast Lap Tim was closest to the speed: Actual-165.115 Tim-169.122 In the Milestones, Tim and Chiana had 4 pts. each and marco and Daisy had 2 pts. each. Everyone had Dario for leading the most laps. No one had Rahal for 1st Out, but Tim had Pippa Mann as a pick, and since she was technically "out" from her crash, Tim got 1 pt. No one had Carpenter as the Mover (14 spots) No one had Dario of Kanaan as the "Fall" (both dropped 19 spots) marco was closest to the Avg. Speed: Actual-112.200 marco-124.200 Result from Loudon, subject to minor change from protest results: 1. Tim N. - 29 pts. 2. Chiana - 20 pts. 3. marcostraz - 15 pts. 4. Daisy - 13 pts. 5. Yannick - 10 pts. I'll post season results in a minute or two. |

The protests by Newman Haas and Ganassi were not approved.
Thus the race results, and the results of our contest, will stand. See you in the Sonoma Pick 'Em, which is already up. |
