The question is. are there to many V8's and do these tractors stop many of the smaller engined European Cars racing in Historics. The Yank Tanks are very cheap for what you get out of them.In period there were a handful racing in BSCC and as mentioned races were sometimes split under 2L over 2L.Didn't know TL won BRSCC in the Russian car.

Could the TL championship be the 1972 Standard Production Saloon Car Championship which was based on cost of the car and he had about 22 class wins?

Exactly that,If a class is poorly supported, then a star like Tony would cruise it anyway. If think that as has been seen in these hallowed page's that there are too many V8's,sometimes straight and sometimes bent. The straight one's[Only a Handful]are welcome, they give the smaller car's more pace in chasing them on "Power" circuit's,and they have less chance on the twiddly one's.Perhaps "just a dream" but it really would be good to recreate how it used to be.It is only the cheat car's that spoil it for everyone else on the grid.

While frustrating at times to race in the HRSR races in an App K car and be constantly beaten, overall the rules seem to work.

Why can't a V8 win the championship? Nigel Vaulkhard very nearly did and had there been one extra Class K1 entry at three of the ten rounds then he would probably have had the championship sewn up before the Silverstone finale.

Regards App K Cortinas had you been able to enter more rounds you too may have been in contention to win overall.

Looking at the results from five rounds where we had competitive App K Cortinas this year they were 2.49% slower than the fastest HRSR LCs (Dan Cox and Joe Gomm) but were on a par with the other LC's in Class C.

Also, I note from the U2TC race at Spa that there were several Alfas and LCs faster than Joe Gomm's LC in the HSCC race there.

However, the HRSR will continue to look at levelling the performance of the different classes and also hope to have more longer races in 2008 which we know the App K drivers prefer.

makes you wonder why people build non App K cars if the pace is so close.

all your achieving is pigeon holing yourself by not being able to race outside HRSR

likewise all the V8's claim to be Fia spec . . . . read into that what you will
