I have just finished watching a documentary on Wayne gardner on Fox sports here in Oz..Wayne is currently driving for the le man Toyota supra Japanese GT team..it gave a great insight into a race weekend (Rnd 2 at Fuji 2000) and even some of the japanese nightlife. wayne is partnered by ex F1 and champcar pilot Hideki Noda and it was interesting to see how the teams engineers treated wayne compared to Hideki..Noda is basically the number 1 in the team and was responsible for the qualifying time and Wayne at times just seemed along for the ride..If ya not sure who wayne Gardner is he is the 1987 500cc motorcycle world champion and since retiring from bikes has moved into cars firstly into V8 supercar in Australia and now in the Japan GT series..these cars look totally awesome and are quite fast machines and i totally enjoyed watching this doco..but if you want more info on wayne and the series have a look at his website at http://www.waynegardner.com or the series website at http://www.gtc.infosim.co.jp/gtc_h_en.htm and check it out
