Iain if you wanna get rid of your E Type, trailer and van, just park few minutes in Marseille area. You'll be treated as should, they'll love your shoes and trousers too!
Dont be surprised, my whole family is famous in this neighborhood hence the numerous "hey, ta mère en slip" or better "vas voir ta grand mère" you can hear. Dont bother if they call you "mon frère" or "frère" it means they already got your wallet! Have fun…

Great end to the season
Last track action of the year today, a Javelin trackday that started @ 9am under low cloud, was interupted by a heavy snowstorm and then spent the afternoon in bright sunlight before ending @ 3-45 when a 5 series attacked the barriers going up to the Hairpin.
Renaults provided the bulk of the days entertainment with Clios coming off and hitting the tyres in the usual places, and the star for me was a Migraine who obviously drove a rear wheel drive Escort in a previous life.

We got past Dijon yesterday . Now through Lyon although we had a little detour . Ha Ha . Slept very well after the stress yesterday . All good in France and much the same as U K with people just being sensible about mixing , all wearing mask . It’s great to get back abroad also with Delta son helping with the driving . We have had some snow but now as we near Marseille it’s just raining heavy . I will report back on after the drop and when we are heading home .

Seems that John Naylor replaces Paolo Cantarella at the FIA Commission Historique du Sport Automobile. Waiting for Iain's comment about this important change. Something starting with a W for the new year?

A l'heure où nous lettons sous presse, quelque part dans le monde, Mon Ami peut lire dix-neuf heures au cadran de sa montre. Ou plutôt 7 PM. Il pense Ã* cet homme qui attendait qu'il soit minuit Ã* Lambaréné… Mr Schweitzer guettant le dépanneur pour enlever sa Renault, pien tzür…

Il pense aux courbes des jolies femmes, d'Amsterdam, de France et d'ailleurs, ainsi qu'aux courbes de Montlhéry qu'il connaît par coeur.
Bientôt Mon Ami va basculer dans l'inconnu, se lançant en chute (pas libre en ce moment!) éperdue dans une nouvelle aventure, comme il le fait depuis quelques décennies.
Il s'apprête Ã* lever son verre Ã* la santé des belles femmes et de bauble tout en contemplant la première photo du calendrier spécial Mike. Il va imaginer que Iain lui dit "watts ze fuk 2020, lots have happy doys in 2021!".
