Speed Demon should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
** Sigh **

Why did Cart.com have to change away from Quokka just days before the first race? Heaven knows Quokka wasn't perfect - but at least they could get a decent CART Radio Network coverage to my RealPlayer. Instead, I now get a very irritating whine in the background. Plus it keeps fading in and out, rebuffering, inexplicably failing to connect etc, etc. What on earth's going on?

Add in a web site that is badly laid out, tricky to navigate - full off blind alleys - and badly lacking in content and you begin to wonder what awful thing you've done to deserve this.

Almost makes you want to go out and get Eurosport...

It was the first time I'd tried listen to Cart coverage on the net as well and lets be honest, it was almost impossible. More of it was fading in and out than actually worked properly, so I still haven't much idea what was happening
I guess I'll just have to wait until Tuesday for highlights on C5.

Yes, I guess C5 will have to do. Hope Ben Edwards still does the commentary.

I listed to CART Radio a lot last year, and bar a few hiccups, it worked fine. Had its own pop up window as well, and you could choose to have pit to car radio feeds too. The Race Viewer was far superior as well.

Apparently - from what I caught in between the whining, popping, fading out etc - problems with phonelines were to blame for today's fiasco. Hope that was a Mexico-related prob and that things will be back to normal by the Beach...

According to information on the 7th Gear forum, the web company was not awarded the contract until Feb 22nd (another CART bonehead move), so its amazing they got anything done in time. I think you'll find the next race coverage better.

I rely on my webcast radio coverage for practice and qualifying in real time, and love the commentary provided.

thanks jb
