Yeah, hearing Turner was yelling at IMSA about it just feels like what they do. And sadly reported more than their quiet celebrations and tacos. Nothing against them but it just feels like they feel like they deserve the win cause they field a few cars.

Alfa coming through with the win let the Hyundai overdrive the corner and recover was good way to redeem some of the stupid yellows

Yeah. Seriously unprofessional and not a good look for them. Ultimately it was their driver who lost them the championship, not the other team.

But go here to compare and contrast to the 2014 Petit Le Mans. First post ALMS/GA merger race.

GTLM pole by the #24 BMW M8 would have been 5th overall. Almost 4th and just 0.7 sec off of the Corvette DP cars in top 3 overall that year. All LMP2 cars this year with the bronze drivers behind the wheel easily faster than entire 2014 grid. Fastest GTD car this year the #12 Lexus at 1:18.8 would have been 5th in GTLM in 2014. One thing I can gather is that the speed of the GTD Pro class in 2022 will be at what GTLM was at in 2014.

So yeah we won't be seeing GT cars as fast as they are now for a very very long time I feel.

Even last year, LMP2s would not have had enough downforce to run two-wide down the hill into T12. He's unlucky to catch the end of the tyres, but he should have held back.

This race would be better watching if it was just DPI, GTLM, and GTD only. Would get a lot more green thats for sure.

#25 BMW just punted the #7 P3 car. But the 7 cut him off. That should not be a penalty.
