elephino Hits The Gambling Tables

After spending a gruelling 5 days on the road around Victoria with the RaceTime team and the Grand Prix Rally, elephino finally had the chance to relax on Thursday afternoon and evening.

Now most people would do just that - relax.

However, I have it on good authority that in this instance, instead of sitting down, with his feet up, Mr. Elephino decided to head for the Melbourne Crown Casino to try and lighten his wallet.

It is my understanding that he has a weakness for roulette - to such an extent that he tried, unsuccessfully I might add, to break the bank on the table he was seen lounging over (with a vodka martini- shaken, not stirred, in one hand, a Benson & Hedges in the other, and two blondes on each arm).

After many financial scares, whilst he didn't break the bank - he apparently did manage to come away with a reasonably substantial sum of money (and promises from the girls to look him up next time they were up in Sydney - sometime later this month for a parade being held in Kings Cross).

After quietly pocketing his winnings, he was heard to mutter 'I suppose I should offer all those freeloaders on ten-tenths a free drink when I get home'.

However, after exiting the casino, he was then heard the shout 'But buggered if I am going to - Yippeeeee!!!!'

Anyway - congrat's elephino - and thanks for the help on the rally - I hope you enjoyed the 1200 km and the event in general.

Apart from the sunburn (me) and long trips in the car (all of us) - yes it was good.

elephino is enjoying his time at the GP I believe (he had already bought tickets before he found out he got a freebie for doing the rally!!!) - me though? TV - the only place to watch what happens...

Pfffffffftttt, pffffffffft and double pfffffffttttt.

I was not present at this gambling orgy, but believe me, none of that happened!

But it is good to see that he is still enjoying his Christmas present of 2 Russian love brides. Kudos Ele!

Also good to see the Torago make it back (in one piece?). Kudos Toyota!

He must have picked an extra two love brides then

The Tarago made it on epiece - except for the brakes getting overheated coming in Omeo - full load and even the metal pads decided to protest and leave a nice odour behind them. 30 minutes sitting at the end of the Omeo event helped cool them down <g>

I want to know more about the two blondes on your arm. Is that why you stood us up at the 10/10 Trackside meeting?

Prostitution is legal in Victoria, I hope you didn't "blow" your winnings Elephino.

David, I stood you up as I didn't actually know the time of the meeting and no one let me know I was missing it either and you supposedly have my phone number too (and Diabando).

Racetime, I wasn't expecting such prose about my fortunate experience with the spinning wheel and roulette.

I enjoy special press releases, having released one or two of my own over the years.
