[Photos/Art] Brands Hatch Eurocar V8 picture

Team Brask commissioned me to paint this picture back in 1999.
The £10,000 Eurocar V8 'shoot-out' was held at Brands in May that year and Lars-Christian Brask commissioned me to paint all of the competitors on one painting. Eurocar at the time was our big hope for American style stock car racing but Ascar and Rockingham have definitely taken over there!
To enable all of the cars and Brands to be shown in detail, I decided to paint an aerial view of the circuit with each one painted on top. This is a solution to depict a certain Championship or series in one painting.
It was 30 x 20ins and was printed as the centrespread of 'Autosport' magazine a couple of weeks after the race.

great painting as usual Andrew.....If i had the money i would get you to just paint me one of Brands Hatch all on its own without anycars over it what so ever !


Just love Brands Hatch , its such a great circuit to look at .
