Seems very centralised.

Perhaps to give TCR Eastern Europe some breathing space?

Think its probably more down to the practicalities of sitting on DTM and GT Open race cards instead of having to be standalone events.

That model makes a lot of sense for TCR Europe

The Halder siblings confirmed for 2022. Great news. Both of them are proven winners. Hope to one day see them both in WTCR

With respect but TCR Europe and national series are their level.

Probably, but it would be nice to see them get a chance. They deserve it more than the Backman siblings did.

Csaba should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Switching from the WTCR thread, Comtoyou confirmed 3 cars, and an interesting line-up. So basically they kept Coronel, and took over the whole PSS Racing Team, with both drivers(and basically Davidovksi is the "team himself").

And we had another announcement. Or at least a few, and we can put the pieces together.

Janik Motorsport have confirmed a switch to Elantras, and they will keep Homola alongside Galas.

Since our last replies, Janik Motorsport have confirmed continuing with Homola and Galas in 2 new Elantras. They already raced with the cars on the Hungaroring last weekend, in the TCR Eastern Eu round.

Josh Files will return with Target- and I'm really happy about it
Jelmini and Baldan being his teammates this year. And Target also signed Langeveld for a TCR Italy campaign- which is an interesting move.
But with two "lost" drivers, it makes me think whether SLR will stay in the series.

Also today Giacomo Ghermandi confirmed switching from TCR Eastern Eu to a full European season.

Sébastien Loeb Racing will switch from Hyundai to Cupra for the 2022 TCR Europe season and will enter a single León Competición for John Filippi.

The team is yet to confirm whether it will enter any further cars in TCR Europe this year.

21 cars, not bad - better numerically than the full-season WTCR entry!

Pretty solid race. Can't say the same about the commentator.

I'm hoping he won't be back, bloody useless in both races.

Paul Jeffrey from RaceDepartment I believe. Better off sticking to his simracing commentary...
