Excellent thanks for clearing it up Rod. That suits me and Mike because we wouldn't be able to do the 31st

Not directly Tin Tops related I'm afraid, except that there are two guys in the van that have competed in Tin Tops this year, but you might appreciate this small clip from our recent trip to the Nurburgring.

for most cars there wont be any changes, as most of the changes to the class structure are just renumbering, basically the old TG guest class becomes T1 and T1 becomes T2 etc, full details will follow soon once i get off the internet and get typing word docs!

Very little. The old T5 class is dropped because nobody supported it. Class TG will become the new T1 for the bigger (engined) cars. Current T1 will be T2 etc..

Any chance of standing starts for 2010?

Unlikely because of the extra time it takes, but see what the majority say.

One standing, one rolling everyone is happy then.

Same here, prefer standing but think one and one is best option for everyone.

Why do standing starts take longer than rolling, thought it is the other way round if anything?

Perhaps a box on the 2010 registration form to tick either way and go with the majority???

So can we do a vote of 1 of each or both rolling or both standing?

coxy, the msa regs will not allow you to do both types of start on the same day as the officials , marshals and drivers may get confused at the start as they some times do now. i realy dont mind which way the race is started as long as it is fair , and i have to say there are a lot of drivers that dont know how a rolling start works. one of the big problems is leaving a big gap infront and then getting a "flyer" as this then holds every one up behind.on the flip side getting a good start from row 5/6/7/8 and then seeing someone stationary on the grid when you are at full chat aint that good either .. but then motorsport is dangerous as it says on the ticket.

Nope, not even spoke to Dan as far as I know. He is doing PBMWC next year. Got someone coming at the weekend to look at the 106 though!
