They will still go, and probably rename themselves the "Rob Austin's TBL on loan to Sam Tordoff Fan Club".

They can wear pink hats instead of green ones.

ahh yes the "owners club" wonder how this news will affect the stock market.....

In all seriousness tho I thought the Alfa had a lot of potential and was one of the best looking cars out there, will be missed for 2019, but history has shown after missing a season, its very difficult to then come back in as sponsors will go elsewhere, and generally your out of the interest

Having identified that Rob Austin and his engineers are clearly not at the level of Jason, he has decided to lease the Alfa Romeo from HMS for the 2019 season, and has arranged for BMR to run it alongside a single Subaru entry.
This will mean the BTCC fans will get to see their favourite marque of car, driven by their favourite driver, with the fans favoured sponsor resulting in a team that are the best in the paddock.
Jason is proud to have put all of this together single-handedly and is looking forward to taking his 100th BTCC victory and the championship in 2019.'
Where is this from?

Exactly? The two loan ones aren’t being used, therefore they don’t exist.

it’s the list of teams that have a TBL for 2019. not a list of their team entry names.

The wording of the entry list does imply that Tordoff doesn't own a TBL.

Confirmed entries for the 2019 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship:

Aiden Moffat Racing, 1
AmD/Cobra Exhausts, 2
AmD/Trade Price Cars, 2
BTC Racing, 2
Ciceley Motorsport, 2
Excelr8 Motorsport, 2
Motorbase Performance, 3*
Power Maxed Racing, 2
Simpson Racing, 1
Speedworks Motorsport, 1
Team Parker Racing, 1
Team BMR, 2
Team Dynamics, 2
Team HARD, 4
West Surrey Racing, 3

*including one TBL on loan from HMS Racing

Really?

They bought the ex-AMD MG's and AMD bought the Eurotech Hondas.
