Fictional Street circuits

Pretty simple, put up maps of street circuits you've designed from anywhere in the world. I can say I've done dozens, and though I'm new to 10-tenths I'll post some of my favorites ASAP

Firstly, welcome to Tenths! And this is coming from a guy who's only been here himself a few months!

Secondly, mitch is a great name. Just had to say that, no idea why.
And yeah, there are quite a few street tracks around here, though I'm happy to put one up here in the next few days.

A rather vague and perhaps unrealistic suggestion for Duluth:

http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=3852334

Pit straight would be on the left, and parts of the road would be widened. The bit that cuts through the grassy area would have to be built obviously.

I am gonna continue tweaking this, perhaps moving it elsewhere entirely, but I want to see if a circuit could be done in the city.

Here's a couple "completely unworkable but I'd like to see them anyway" circuits:

Waikiki (2.426mi, Indy/ALMS?):
http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=3870565

Quebec City (3.287mi, sort of like a French-Canadian Macau, LOTS of elevation change):
http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=3870589

Bradley Airport Perimeter Circuit (8.264mi, Around Bradley Airport in Windsor Locks, CT with some interesting roads):
http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=3870607

Boston Downtown (2.391mi, Indy/ALMS?):
http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=3870644

Central CT Enduro circuit (8.270mi, runs around the area in Connecticut where I grew up and still live):
http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=3870681

I'll be playing with gmap pedometer a little more and see what I come up with

Southsea International Circuit

http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=3952993

Glad I found this Forum & Thread!

Everyday I ride part of this circuit on my commute and the roads around Southsea Common are wide and flat. The City (Portsmouth) has good road, rail & ferry (France, Spain, Channel Islands, Isle of Wight) links and is not far from Goodwood.

I see it as a mixture of Albert Park (which i've been to and see the roads and common being very similar) and Monaco & Valencia (Because the circuit is by the sea)

Other than removing the street furniture and having a resurface, the actual track is already there.

The Pit Straight would need to be built. Either at the top or bottom of the common (all free open space) Another interesting option could be using Avenue De Caen which is 350 metres long and has no buildings on it. However this would involve almost 1 mile of the bendiest part of the track being avoided by cutting through the pit lane. Not sure how stop go penalties would work!

Grandstands can be constructed along the long shingle beach and the track in field.

Cowes - The Home of Sailing

http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=3953137

Cowes is the home of Sailing, with its August Cowes Week a mecca for the rich and famous.

This circuit, which would be Britains Monaco, would have tight windy sections through the narrow town centre, including a (5 metre) tunnel.

It would flow through the Yacht Haven like the Piscine & Anthony Nolan sections of Monaco and repeat this again through Sheppards Wharf opposite the Iconic GKN Union Flag.
Then the route will follow the main A road out of town through to the BAE Systems Radar site. Lots of open Brown belt here, so a dedicated start finish straight and pits complex can be built here (especially as BAE are trying to sell this land)
Then it goes up another wide industrial road and through a business park before following a new section across some council owned sports fields and joining the main road back into Cowes and using the wide tarmac carpark at Northwood House to end the lap before plunging back down into the town centre.

Alas this will never be possible due to NIMBY attitudes and a lack of ambition.

Could earn millions for the Island

I drive on most of those roads in the Enduro track daily, lol.
