I think that's just trying to find an excuse for not getting the budget together. I don't see any reason why Hamilton not completing the season would financially impact HMS. I think it's a case of not having a deal put together, so sell the TBL rather than have to hand it back to TOCA (which has already been suggested). Unless the rules are different for loaned TBLs? Motorbase finished the year using the one allowed driver change after all

They already have a third car. The shell has been prepared, it's just never been fitted with mechanical parts.

Sutton and Moffat confirmed at an expanded Laser Tools team. Didn’t watch the full social media piece so don’t know if they gave any details on where the TBLs came from though

Good to see Ash back in BTCC for another year but I'm not sure whether Laser Tools Infiniti will be a car in which he'll be able fight for title. Hopefully I'll be proved wrong.

I don't see why the re-engineered Infiniti cant move up the grid, the Avensis was turned from mediocre to a top car, as was the CC.

I don't understand the hate for the Alfa, Austin's results we very similar in Toyota.

I'll be very interested to see what BMR bring to this exciting new joint venture, not sure they even got a mention in the BTCC press release.
