HSCC Cadwell 13th April

Just a quick but huge thank you for such a brilliant turnout today. As many of you know, the meeting was cut short in tragic circumstances and I'm sure you'll join me in thoughts for the driver concerned, his family and friends. A special thank you for all the medics and rescue crew involved - nobody could have done more than you did and I'm very proud of the way the incident was handled.

scott19 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I was at cadwell as a competitor and was stood right in front of the accident at the end of the day. I dont no what the out come was but i would just say that was a display of the best marshall work i have ever seen. The rescue truck crew were fantastic and on the scene in seconds and the comunication to get the red flags out so quick and the cars off the track was outstanding. Well done guys thats a credit to all you guys who allow us mad idiots to go racing as safely as possible!

I'm sure that everybody will understand if I don't post any further details on here. We have a process to follow in these circumstances and MSV, the circuit owners, will issue a formal press release as soon as possible
