One interesting thing is that Cam McConville has stepped up a notch in recent times, at least in qulaifying, which is great to see.

Maybe this is a sign that Super Tourer drivers are every bit as good as V8 drivers, and maybe all the talk about Super Touring is saying that there is more interest in the class than some people think.

I wasn't knocking Super Tourers, from what I saw of it it seemed like a pretty cool category when the fields were filled with competitive cars.
I was knocking the cry babies on this forum still sulking over it's world wide demise. Get over it - V8 Supercar rules in Australia at the moment, whether you like it or not accept it and move on. Reaching for tissues and posting sob stories on this forum is not going to reverse what has happenned. |

Good drives in Super Tourers? No doubt that there were heaps of good drivers come through the ranks...but the depth just isn't there anymore.
