Current Contracts

When do the current contracts for drivers end? (not that they mean much, but...)

Here are the one's I can remember at the moment.

Michael's current contract expires at the end of 2004. Rubens has signed till then too. Montoya has just signed till the end of 2004. Ralf contract ends at the end of 2003 (?) DC's is in the 1st year of his current two year contract next year. Sato is also in the first year of a two year. Fisi is in the first year of a three year. Jacques is in the first year of a two year. Button has just signed a three year deal with BAR.

What about engines and sponsors?
When does BMW contract end?
Does the Honda contract last?

Anyway here is a summary of what I think (is it right?). Can you add too it.

Michael (2004)
Rubens (2004)
Ralf (2003)
Montoya (2004)
DC (2003)
Kimi (2003)
Heidfeld (2003)
de la Rosa (2004)
Button (2005 BAR)
Salo (2003)
Trulli (2003)
Alonso (?)
Sato (2003)
Fisichella (2004)
Villeneuve (2003)

Anyway, I'm just curious...

Mania should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Ralf's contract with BMW Williams expires at the end of 2004, he renewed it last season.

BMW - have a contract with Williams till 2007. Im not a 100% sure about that one though.

Unlike previous years, 2003 and 2004 could be huge in terms of driver movements. This year has already sprung a couple of big coups for teams, and major surprises, but the next two years could be even more interesting.

Looking at Adams list, if we thought that this years "silly season" was something, next year is going to be manic, i can't wait!

Okay I was wrong about BMW - apparently their contract expires with Williams at the end of 2004 - which means Ralf, Pablo and BMW all have similar expiry dates on their contracts. Very interesting!

2003/4 are going to be absolutely mega, I swear - I seriously think Schumi is going to quit while he's ahead - everyone will be waiting to see who blinks first at Ferrari/McLaren and Williams...
