Extra Trc Round ?

Well it's done the TRC boys a favour, they seem to have an extra race at Brands at the end July out of it. (Taken from the Formula Woman Thread )

Wots all this then ???? Has anyone got any regs ?

Are there any more details about this event? Which day do we race etc etc. Sounds interesting but can't find any information about it.

As far as I'm aware 30th is practice and race 1, 31st is race 2.

For more details and forms etc try sending a PM to Rod Birley

Well according to the finals, Steve Weatherley should have an easy win on Saturday and Sunday!

I can see a healthy 19 entries on the list at the moment, and the quality looks to be there too...

I tried to get Seat series co-ordinator to register Jason Plato for the Track and Race races at Brands, but got reply he was only allowed to do demos over the weekend - suppose he's not used to racing with full grids !

Would you really want to be on the same track as Plato. Can you afford that much panel damage?

Indeed. T&R has a good reputation unlike BTCC.

Great racing as usual guys! Was a shame the prelude wasn't a bit closer at the finish...would have been fantastic to see a battle between it and the escort!

Looking forward to coming to see you at lydden now!

The red flag after 2 laps didnt help. With only 10 laps in the restart; just not quite enough. Pete was pushing though, grounding the Prelude round Paddock, with the rear stepping out. Didnt it look great in the Armor All livery again, let alone the Escort, on show by the suites in original 70s style. Well done Pete! Hope everyone appreciated his 2 week effort to transform them.

They both looked really great, nice effort Pete and its amazing what a new set of boots can do!! (fastest lap). Thanks to everyone who made the display by Paddock Grandstand look so good as well.

The Prelude looked fantastic, but the handling needs sorting out. For some reason the rear of the car seems to follow the front end rather than looking to overtake it. Also it seems to be missing 4 cylinders !!

Would I be also correct in thinking that Pete had a close encounter with a Citroen BX on the 1st lap of the race before the red flag?

I was not aware of a close encounter with Mr cole .Unlike racing against him in 2cv's when we regularly rubbed each other up the wrong way.

Sorry if I caused any confusion, it's just that on the run to Druids on the first lap it seemed that Peter was somewhat close to (under?) the rear of Carrera's BX which had the brakes locked up.
