Murf is signed for how long

does anyone know how long Murf is signed with Kmart? how long before he joins his team or sorry the team owned by a team sporting his name

Murphy's contract with the Kelly's finishes at 11.59pm on 31st DEC 2004 as far as i know.

I would think that Murph would be high on the Ford shopping list. Can the Kelly's afford to keep him ??
What would be the yearly contract price of a driver of Murph's calibre. You see, with Bowe reaching his twilight, and Stevie Johnson looking on the way out, there are only three real frontline ford men, Ambrose, Lowndes, and Ingall. Seton is past his prime and i wuld expect a retirement in the next year or so...
Holden have more frontline men and i feel that FPR would be sizing up Murph to replace Seton. Murph and Lowndes did win bathurst together in 1996....
This is just my thoughs anyway.

SHRT (BNR) - Skaife, Bright
KKR (Kmart) - R. Kelly, and T. Kelly
paul weel would probbaly be forced to join another team should murph leave.

I can't see Tander in a second driver role even if it is at HRT. He will want to be #1 where ever he is and I don't blame him for that.

Murph may not be everone's cup of tea but he is:
- articulate
- quick when he's head's in the right space
- not afraid of confrontation
A Ford team could do much worse... some did... ask around
