"Registered Medical Assistant"
Does anyone know what the MSA mean by the term "Registered Medical Assistant?"
This is in addition to Doctor & Paramedic I have given them a month to reply to email......heard nothing so thought stood a better chance of an answer in here!

It's aimed at Nurses who work mainly in Medical centres.
"If you are applying to become a Registered Medical Assistant a copy of your HPC or the Nursing & Midwifery Council Registration Certificate is required and your application must be supported by the Chief Medical Officer of the venue where it is intended you will attend MSA Permitted events. Demonstrable experience and proficiency in resuscitation and trauma management skills are required, also having experience of active participation in motor sport medical care or has attended an MSA Medical Staff Induction Course. It is desirable that the applicant has successfully attended at least one of the following courses: ATNC, PHTLS, PHEC, ALS, PHPLS, APLS or ATLS observer." Taken from the MSA website |
