Blue-eyed Devil should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Urgent! ESPN StarSport, anyone?

Hi! I'm coming to you with an urgent request.

I'm writing my thesis about Formula 1 live coverage, comparing the language used in several English commentaries, and I desperately need a recording of the upcoming British Grand Prix from ESPN Star Sports in Asia. (I'd already sorted something out, but the person who'd kindly agreed to tape the race for me had to bow out because of technical difficulties with her VCR.)

If any of you have access to ESPN Star and any means of recording at all (VHS, DVD, online - doesn't matter), and would be willing to record the British GP for me, I'd be eternally grateful. I will, of course, compensate you for your troubles and shipping costs and such.

Thanks in advance,
Claudia

Sounds like () an intersting project.

The same `TV feed' is distributed worldwide and each network has it's own commentators who are usually NOT at the track.

I hope you can get the informaton you need.

I know that the TV feed is the same everywhere - the commentary, however, is not, and the task for my thesis is to compare the language used by the commentators.

I'm using coverage from the US and the UK, but without the ESPN commentary to compare, it's not working so well.

the sniper has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
I would suggest searching on torrent sites, especially motorsport ones. These often have all the variations from across the world uploaded to them.

Good luck
