How come the 919 lap is subject to a noise restriction but 30 minutes later they will run the 24hr race? Surely the 919 isn't that loud? Just thought it was interesting.

It won't be loud. It's probably a permit to do with individual events rather than any interesting reason.

Some weird stewarding going on here. There's loads of space in the grandstands but they all seem to be closed with angry looking people pushing everyone out onto the GP loop.

RLM were saying there's been a little too much contact and this sort of thing too early. I'm not sure how you avoid it at this place under race conditions.

What is Hindhaugh watching? He has mis-identified front-running cars four times and apparently can't tell Höhe Acht from Breidscheid. All in just half an hour.
