I think you can usually camp in the grounds, but it would be an idea to give them a call beforehand, just to be sure.

Erm... well, Chris had a good tussle with a couple of other Minis, and Voggie is unmarked.

But that's rather more than can be said of some of the other competitors. Two red flags and three, maybe four cars gone and another three badly damaged in four separate incidents will give you an idea that it was somewhat eventful.

Which cars are we talking about? Minis (cheap and plentiful) or something more costly?

Mighty Minis - Chris' race was stopped twice. Once for a startline shunt which buckled the armco under the bridge, and then the restart made it to the exit of Gerards, when two Minis suffered multiple rolls. With that and a big T-bone at the hairpin on the penultimate lap, and a session-stopping off in practice, the Minis had quite a day of it.

Tch! Hooligans.

They'll be getting a "Hot Hatch" reputation if they're not careful.

Not only was the Mighty Minis race red flagged twice, it was also moved to the end of the programme so as not to delay everybody else's race; rumour has it that there would be no restart after another red flag......

Quite an achievement - getting your race red flagged without even crossing the start line! Gets a very quick red flag when you do it right in front of race control.

A good race when they finally found out how to do it......in fact, with one exception, they were all good races; anyone who felt guilty about not visiting their mother on Mothering Sunday can consider that Formula 3 'race' a suitable penance!

The Minis wouldn't have restarted if there had been another red flag due to a lack of time more than anything else. And be fair, they *did* get just past the startline before starting their armco-bending. And the Gerard's rolls happened a couple of laps in, I recall.
