Is it safe to assume that the Michelins run at Sepang in 2003 were of the same design challenged later in the season and found to be outside the legal limit?

If this is the case, then I don't think the Bridgestone shod cars will be at so much of a disadvantage this time around.

I think 'yes' the tires that Michelin had at Malaysia were the same as those in question later. Maybe if that is the case, they won't have such an advantage over Bridgestone at the high temperature tracks.

The "offending tyres" appeared on the Williams at Imola or Monaco - and then later on the McLaren and Renault.
