I found this from DSC (8 years ago) which explains the change of route missing the tunnel. Can anyone who has gone in the last couple of years say if it's still accurate?
https://www.dailysportscar.com/2016/...ity-fears.html Edit... Found this from last year although it's really quite difficult to decipher. |

Hi again folks!
What are the options around the circuit for restaurants during the week? Do any of you have recommendations? Is booking tables before leaving for LM necessary? Should we expect to have to drive out of the campsite (BSJ), or is it possible to walk to places (like Arnage for example)? |

I think your best bet would be hopping on the tram and heading into town. My friends and I had a great experience at this restaurant several years ago. They have a set menu that’s really reasonable and the downstairs dining room is in a neat cave: Auberge des 7 Plats

Good restaurant, when making your reservation try to avoid any table in the cellar. Generally speaking, you'll find more objective opinions about french restaurants/hotels when searching via a foreign website (ie, not french in this case). That's what I've been doing for ages now.

Is this timetable accurate?
https://www.le-mans-guide.co.uk/legal-notice It looks too good to be true! I'm not sure if there's bits from last year's event still left in there such as.. On the Friday: FROM ACO:"The 24hrs of the Les Mans family" 1900-1918 FRENCH AIR FORCE Fly Past "Legions of the RACE": 2001-2007 Fly Past by FRENCH NAVY Rafale Aircraft 2008 - "ENTERTAINMENT "???? 2045-2055 "The Famous Le MANS START" Plus: 2300-2335 Fireworks & Drone DISPLAY And then on the Saturday: 1230-1325 FROM ACO - "PARADE OF THE GRAND EXPOSITION DU CENTENAIRE DES 24 HEURES DU MANS" THESE ARE THE CARS THAT HAVE BEEN ON DISPLAY AT THE MUSEUM "ANNEX" ALL WEEK. Some of it seems like it could be copy and pasted from the 100th anniversary race? |

This is the ACO's 'work in progress' which, despite the lack of timings, should be far more accurate. |

Thanks guys.
That's a shame then, as it's a nicely detailed program that goes into far more detail than the official one. But unfortunately not really all that useful if you don't know if, it's actually correct information. |

Before Corona, the Welcome restaurant and the bar on top was always part of our entertainment during raceweek. The last couple of years, it has been occupied by sponsors and their guests (Alpine I think). Is there anywhere on track that can offer a decent replacement for drinks and eating?

If you pay the extra bit on top of the aco membership then you can use the restaurent in the aco 17/18 grandstand or the members area by the dunlop bridge,
