Bmw M3 Gtr
This morning I went to the Monza racetrack and I saw the Team test.
There were some Etcc cars, but there was a Bmw M3 Gtr too...The car is in the 24H of Nurburgring livery and it is a to nice car to see... Leglizone Last edited by leglizone; 5 Nov 2008 at 10:53. |

Any other pics of this beauty? Wasn't it Gerhard Berger behind the wheel of the M3 GTR? He was due to test with the car but I don't know when.

Have any announcements been made regarding drivers for the Nurburgring 24 Hours and Spa 24 Hours? I assume we can count Jorg Muller and Dirk Muller in, probably Claudia Hurtgen as well. Perhaps Hans Stuck too?

I expect at least 1, possibly 2, Belgians at the wheel of a M3 GTR namely Kurt Mollekens and Didier de Radiguès with backing from Galeria Kaufhof (Inno Galeria in Belgium).

Jean-Michel Martin arranged the Inno Galeria sponsorship for the Zakspeed Viper in the Spa 24h. With the support from Martin and Inno Galeria Mollekens is trying to drive the GTR at the Ring and Spa this year.

I'm still convinced BMW is just waiting for the right opportunity to return to the GT class in ALMS/LMES/GT, maybe with a new model.

Confirmation of Ralf Schumacher testing today at Monza is here. http://www.motorsport.com/news/artic...D=146387&FS=F1 I wonder, could we see Ralf in the Spa 24hr race? There is no F1 race that weekend so its a possibilty, but the Nurburgring 24hrs would clash with the Canadian GP.

He likes BMW M3 GTR, that is the reason because of he was testing today. But he won´t do endurance races with BMW, at least in a near future.
