Congratulations to Adrian Newey who has received an OBE in the New Years Honours and in my opinion rightly so.

There are individuals who excel at what they do and they do it for the love of doing it

Adrian Newey OBE falls perfectly into that category

Also in the New Year's Honours, former F1 champion Nigel Mansell - now president of charity UK Youth - gets a CBE for services to children and young people in recognition of his recent work.

I agree. Lewis, Jenson and Damon all got recognised for winning 1 title, the England cricket team for winning 1 Ashes series. Adrian has designed multiple World Championship winning cars. (15 Drivers and Constructors titles if i'm not mistaken)
