Renault buys Torro Rosso!!!
Suprise surprise, the juniour Red Bull team has finally been snapped up by Renault.
The team will still be sponsored by Red Bull, only as minor sponsors though. They will also be moving from Italy to France. What do we think? |

The move to France means virtually the last link to Minardi is broken.
I welcome the news though. This will likely increase RBR's troubles though as Renault concentrate on making their new toy work the way they like it. |

Also, I have to say, I haven't seen this reported anywhere. Is this your personal April fools, then?

Finally an end to one of the most ridiculous instances in modern F1. The two supposedly competing teams that were under same ownership.

Shouldn't Razor have come back at Midday to say this was an April Fool joke?

A Renault team will not be complete without Alonso and Flavio Briatore.
I am also worried about the health of the team staff. Switching abruptly from an all-Italian cuisine to all-French may cause gastrointestinal ailments reducing the staff's productivity. I hope the diet will be changed gradually. The cafeterias should should continue serving Italian food, while slowly diluting Italian wines with French, and also replacing the Gorgonzola cheese with Roquefort. Italian garlic bread should be slowly replaced with French rolls over the course of several months. Last edited by JacobP; 1 Apr 2015 at 12:16. |

Tony Dodgins in todays MNews was musing on a scenario thus.
RBR allegedly thinking of selling to Audi VAG allegedly won't enter F1 if BE is still running the show So he thinks a neat solution could be.. Red Bull buys F1 from CVC Installs Horner as CEO Audi buys Red Bull Racing with no BE in place Renault buys Torro Rosso Red Bull keeps it's F1 presence and 'home GP', makes real money from F1 instead of spending money on it. BE and CVC have an exit strategy. |

That is unfair. That is disgusting. That is OUTRAGEOUS.
It's April Fool's Day. That's Day!!!!!. It's not April Fools Night. It's not April Fool's When-No-Sod-Is-Up. And, no, being Australian is NO excuse. Who do you blasted Australians think you are anyway? !!! It only works before midday and when it's actually 'day' -- and that's for The Mark. That's the rule for April Fool's Day. ggrrrrrr!!!!! |

One of the better ones.
I particularly liked the obviously bogus photo of Carlos Sainz Snr and Jos Verstappen in Toro Rosso outfits. |
